It's the first sea day EVER on the inaugural sailing of the Carnival Mardi Gras and I dine at Rudi's Seagrill for a full review, after a walkthrough tour of the ship, and having sea day brunch in the main dining room of the Mardi Gras. This was my fourth solo cruise. The Carnival Mardi Gras was the first ship to sail from Port Canaveral in over 15 months. The Mardi Gras is the brand new ship from Carnival Cruise Line, the first of its Excel Class of ships.
