Today we did what is called a paratial transit of the Panama Canal meaning we went through the first canal (actually there is a new one and an old one) into the lake, turned around, and went back through the canal returning to the Caribbean. Had we kept going across the lake and gone through the second canal, we would have ended up in the Pacific.
