Day 5 aboard the Carnival Spirit was the calmest, warmest, and most relaxing sea day of our Panama Canal cruise so far — even though it started as a full workday! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to work from a cruise ship, this vlog shows the good, the cozy, and the delicious. We kick off the morning with breakfast and laptops, with Sam working from Bonsai Sushi and Adam working from the cabin. Once the workday wraps, we head to the Far East Asia buffet for a late lunch before making our way to the Serenity deck, where the weather is absolutely perfect. Sunshine, ocean breeze, padded loungers… and yes, we both fall asleep for a long, glorious nap. In the afternoon, we spot Navigator of the Seas sailing by and take a closer look at Serenity’s seating options and towel hut setup. As evening rolls in, we check out the buffet dinner options before heading to the main dining room for a cozy meal with a window view. The night doesn’t end there — we wander the ship, enjoy live music, and catch back‑to‑back shows at the Punchliner Comedy Club before finally heading back to the cabin after 11 p.m. (which feels like 2 a.m. thanks to East Coast time). It was a simple day, but such a good one — sunshine, naps, good food, and great entertainment. Thanks for sailing with us! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe so you don’t miss Cabo tomorrow and the rest of our Panama Canal adventure. 🚢✨
