Day 6 of our 16‑day Panama Canal cruise takes us to Cabo San Lucas for the very first time — and this port instantly became one of our favorites. From a scenic boat ride around The Arch to exploring San José del Cabo, this day was packed with views, history, and surprises. We start the morning tendering ashore (with plenty of “chicken tender” jokes) before boarding a catamaran for a tour of Land’s End, Lover’s Beach, Divorce Beach, and the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas. The water is crystal clear, the cliffs are stunning, and the wildlife is everywhere — birds diving for fish, sea lions, and even talk of whales nearby. After the sea portion, we head inland to a glass blowing factory, where artisans demonstrate how they shape molten glass into colorful dolphins, vases, and ornaments. Then it’s off to a scenic overlook with sweeping views of Cabo Bay, followed by a stop in San José del Cabo to visit the historic mission and grab ice cream. Back onboard, we discover a new towel animal (we’re still not sure what it is — let us know your guess!) before enjoying Mexican Night in the main dining room. The evening wraps up with Family Feud Live, a quick casino visit, and a windy walk on deck as we sail away from Cabo. Thanks for joining us on this beautiful day in Mexico!
