Creator's Key Takeaways

It is very, very calm. So, it is the ship's still you can still feel a little bit of movement, but it is not moving at all. It is nice.

Survey says the wings are really good. I'm just checking my face in this video to make sure I have sauce all over my face. But yeah, they were really big wings. Cooked really good. Sauce was fantastic.

We really didn't do much of anything. Um, you know, Sam worked a little bit. I explored a little bit. Um, chilled by the pool, relaxed, uh, saw some dolphins and, you know, not much of anything, but, uh, pretty chill day.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

Day 7 of our 16‑day Panama Canal cruise was the calmest, sunniest, most relaxing sea day we’ve had so far — the kind of day that reminds you why sea days are so special. Smooth water, warm weather, dolphins, pool time, good food, and an 80s show to wrap it all up. We start the morning with unbelievably calm seas — the kind where the ship is making more waves than the ocean. Sam works while Adam wanders the ship, grabs coffee, and checks out the shops before meeting up for a delicious breakfast in the dining room. Midday brings a fascinating naturalist talk about Mexico’s wildlife, followed by flying fish and birds hunting right outside our balcony. Once Sam finishes work, we head to the pool deck for sunshine, shade, and a refreshing swim. The highlight of the afternoon? Dolphins swimming alongside the ship — always magical. Lunch includes a Guy’s Burger for Adam and the new BlueIguana wings for Sam (Chipotle Honey — huge and delicious). Back in the cabin, we find today’s towel animal: a rabbit with a little tongue. As evening rolls in, we hide a few cruise ducks, explore the craft area, and head to 80s Pop to the Max, packed with classics from Wham!, Whitney Houston, Rick Springfield, and more. Afterward, we grab a casual dinner at the buffet, dance on deck, and try (unsuccessfully) to spot a comet from the bow. It was a simple, slow, sunshine‑filled day — and honestly, one of the best kinds of sea days. Thanks for sailing with us! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe so you don’t miss Day 8 and the rest of our Panama Canal adventure. 🚢✨
