Welcome to Day 7 on board the Carnival Mardi Gras as we set sail out of Port Canaveral, Florida for a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean with port stops in Cozumel and Isla Tropicale Cruise Center, formerly known as Mahogany Bay, and Celebration Key, Carnival's newest private island. Today our port is Celebration Key. Celebration Key has the largest freshwater lagoon in the bahamas, but that is about all it has going for it in my opinion. With only one free meal and Cheers! package not accepted on the island, I feel that this island has a lot of potential, but just seems like a money grab for adults who like to drink and families with kids who are probably going to get hungry more than once during the day. Then back on the ship, we have more ducks to hide and tonight is the "We are One" stage show where Carnival showcases all the different countries represented on their ship. It's a cool show and makes you realize there are a lot of works on the ship from around the world. Unfortunately, I started to get sick so my evening was sitting in my room after hiding our big duck. But on the bright side, I show the cable package you get on Carnival Ships, all 5 or 6 channels, hahaha. Thanks for watching!
