We’ve been following all things Celebration Key for months now – so when today’s news hit, we dug right in and recorded a quick video for you to recap all of the new developments. On March 22, 2024, Carnival Cruise Line released additional information about two of the portals that will be featured at their private destination: Paradise Plaza and Calypso Lagoon. We quickly review those spaces for you and share some mockups as we go. Paradise Plaza is the new Welcome portal that will feature live Bahamian music, a giant sunburst, lots of color, and views of the 10-story Suncastle. Calypso Lagoon is what Carnival has referred to as the “adult friendly” portal. There will be multiple bars, the largest freshwater lagoon in the Caribbean, and plenty of space to work on your tan. Also, Carnival shares new details about the “adults only” area found within the portal.
