Celebrity: Promising Solstice Class Upgrades

Celebrity Cruises has announced that it will be comprehensively renovating and upgrading all Solstice-Class cruise ships, built from 2006 to 2012 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg. There will be new restaurants and entertainment areas, and other areas will be given a fresh new design. The cabins will also be upgraded. The CELEBRITY SOLSTICE will be the first to be renovated, with CELEBRITY EQUINOX, CELEBRITY ECLIPSE, CELEBRITY SILHOUTTE, and CELEBRITY REFLECTION to follow. The planned upgrades in detail: Boulevard Lounge This brand-new, cozy venue will focus on good vibes and a glamorous atmosphere. With a constantly changing program, from interactive daytime activities like new game shows and trivia to upscale evenings with candlelit concerts and piano duels, this cabaret-inspired lounge offers a dramatically new interpretation of Showtime. Boulevard Bar Just steps from the lounge, guests can grab a seat before or after the show for handcrafted cocktails. Celebrity Barcade Guests can bring their best to this new upscale sports bar—the perfect place to watch and play. Multiple screens will be positioned so everyone can comfortably watch the sporting events. New Restaurants Trattoria Rossa An Italian retreat that combines opulence with modern design. The perfect place for an unforgettable evening for two, guests enjoy a front-row seat to experience authentic, tableside dishes inspired by Italian classics, including pasta made fresh daily.
