The Coral Princess will be arriving down under to whisk cruise starved Aussies to local destinations such as the NSW south coast, tropical North Queensland and as far afield as the Conflict Islands. Cruise lengths range from 3 nights all the way to 12, so there should be something for everyone. The very first cruise to kick off the season is a 3 night cruise to nowhere departing on June 16th. An Eastern explorer cruise that departs on July 10 will see the Coral Princess’ passengers visiting Eden, Sydney, Newcastle, Airlie Beach, Cairns and Port Douglas across 12 nights. All of these new cruises will depart from and return to Brisbane, leaving room for sister line’s Pacific Explorer to take advantage of the Sydney market when she commences sailing on May 31st. Coral Princess will offer the company’s highly regarded Medallion technology for an improved onboard experience including the ability to order a drink or meal to your exact location, without having to leave your seat. You’ll also be able to see capacity information in venues before you arrive, as well as track your travelling companions to see if they’re lost, busy in the shop or at the nearest bar. In typical Princess fashion, there are two fare types offered for all of these cruises. The first being Princess Saver which offers the lowest rate for all of your usual cruise inclusions like accommodation, main meals and entertainment, while Princess Plus fares bundle in unlimited Medallion Net wifi and the Premier Beverage Package in one competitive base price. Whether you enjoy a morning cappuccino, an afternoon cocktail or a wine with dinner, Princess Plus is great value at around $40 extra per person per day. I’m not always a big proponent of drinks packages as the value proposition can be hard to justify depending on the upfront cost, but Princess Plus is a no-brainer. Especially when you consider you’ll have access to unlimited internet for staying in touch with home or work. The new itineraries go on sale on Thursday 24th March and to celebrate the launch, my partner agent and I will be offering reduced deposits and onboard credits to those that book early. Thanks for watching!
