This video gives you an idea of a day in Costa Rica when you arrive to Limon cruise port. We chose to do the Marella cruise excursion to Cahuita National Park. As we arrived on Christmas day and were uncertain to how the local bus service would operate we paid the £44 per person price for a 50min return bus ride to Cahuita with a 3hr stay. The better alternative is to get a local bus just outside the port entrance. The cost is about £3 each way, payable by Costa Rica colon. We had been informed that there is an ATM next to the bus station. Buses leave on the hour from 10am and take about 50mins. The stop in Cahuita is near to the National Park. Buses leave on the hour for the return to Limon.
