It was in early 2009 where the Costa Victoria & the Costa Classica were on their routine Dubai Cruises. Here we see our 2nd lady in waiting the QE2 which had been decommissioned by Cunard Line back in Nov 2008 to be made into a luxury hotel at the Palms development. Yet plans fell through as Dubai suffered it's worst economic meltdown as construction projects halted across the cityscape and the QE2 was in the middle of the chaos. The Costa Classica & Victoria's webcams were the worlds only view of our beloved ship still alive but in waiting for an uncertain future. We are here in 2010 re-broadcasting this video for the world to see , as of Sept 2010 no plans have been made to see the QE2's destined new future. Let us hope that she can & must be saved from doom.
