We are in our first port of Cozumel, Mexico! We have decided not to do an excursion here but to explore the port on our own... and do a little shopping. We walk out of the port, cross the street, take a left and walk a couple of blocks and the shops begin to appear! We stop in many and find some great deals. The best area we found is Mayan Plaaza. The shops are neat and organized and there are some fantastic, although somewhat terrifying, performers that climb high to a platform and attach a rope to their leg and slowly twirl down to the ground!
