Today I’m sharing two important travel updates you need to know if you’re heading to Europe soon or sailing on Norwegian in early December. ✈️ Italy Airport Strikes – November 28 If you're traveling to Italy this holiday season—especially for Christmas markets or Rome during the Jubilee—you need to be aware of a major nationwide airport strike planned for Friday, November 28. This affects: Milan airports Rome Fiumicino Potentially other Italian airports Italy often announces their strikes ahead of time, including the specific hours, so keep checking before you fly. Strikes for trains and buses are common too, but air travel strikes are harder to work around, so be prepared and plan accordingly. 🚢 Norwegian Dawn – Unusual Check-In Instructions For the December 7 sailing of the Norwegian Dawn from Tampa, Norwegian is doing something unusual: All guests must check in at the Hilton Tampa Downtown, not at the cruise terminal.
