About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
This type of waterslide has been at water parks on land for years, but Royal Caribbean's "Liberty Of The Seas" is the only cruise ship to ever have one. We head to Galveston, Texas, to board the Liberty Of The Seas and see the brand new water slide that had just opened. Some kind of flaw with the initial design of the waterslide made it unsafe to use when it was first installed in January of 2016. After five months of re-engineering, the slide was finally repaired and opened to passengers just a few weeks before this video was shot. There are lots of screams when riders hit that first scary downhill section of the slide, but it's all smiles once the ride is over.
