Cruise Ships & Other Vessels in Portsmouth & The Solent - 28/04/2014

A busy afternoon at Portsmouth Harbour and out in The Solent on Monday 28th April 2014. The primary reason for going there was to see the two cruise ships that were visiting Portsmouth, and in-between catch some of the ferry traffic coming in and out of the port plus traffic coming to and from Southampton. The vessels seen moving around were as follows... - Condor Ferries' "Commodore Goodwill" arrives into Portsmouth from the Channel Islands. - Wightlink's "St. Clare" arrives from Fishbourne, Isle of Wight whilst St. Cecilia departs. - Swan-Hellenic's "Minerva" departs on a cruise heading towards Copenhagen. - Tug "SD Indulgence" arrives back into Portsmouth towing a broken-down sailing yacht. - Brittany Ferries' "Bretagne" arrives into Portsmouth from St. Malo. - Cunard's "Queen Victoria" passes through The Solent heading from Southampton to the Canary Islands. - Bunkering ship "Whitchallenger" departs Portsmouth heading back to Southampton. - Hapag-Lloyds' "Dresden Express" sails through The Solent heading towards Southampton. - Brittany Ferries' "Normandie Express" arrives into Portsmouth from Cherbourg. - "Commodore Goodwill" departs Portsmouth for the Channel Islands. - NYK Line's "NYK Venus" passes through The Solent outbound from Southampton. - Portuscale Cruises' MV "Azores" departs Portsmouth for Plymouth. - "Bretagne" departs Portsmouth for St. Malo.
