They recently celebrated the 175th anniversary of their first Transatlantic Sailing in Liverpool. Which, kind of epitomises how the line keep up with its traditional background. They also, are pulling themselves forward, into the modern age by announcing that a fourth ship is on the way. At the point of filming she has yet to be named but, will carry 3,000 passengers and will be delivered in 2022. It’s worth noting that Queen Mary 2 is today’s only true ocean liner. An Ocean Liner is able to cross the Transatlantic Ocean. By being a ocean liner it means that the ship can travel across the Atlantic quicker than a cruise ship, a link to Cunard’s history. Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, are built as cruise ships to make transatlantic crossings in a similar way. These are ships built for the exploration of the world!
