Curacao: 5 Things to See and Do--Day Trip on the Dutch Caribbean Island!

After visiting several Caribbean Islands, Curacao was one of my favorites! I spent a day exploring Curacao by bus and on foot and was able to include 5 things in my visit: Boka Grandi, Hofi Mango, Cas Abao Beach, both sides of Willemstad, and the Queen Emma Bridge. The island has a vast topography that includes the basalt cliffs of Boka Grandi, the mango plantations of Hofi Mango, and the beautiful panoramic setting and architecture of Willemstad. I loved the Queen Emma Bridge that opened like a door on pontoons! Curacao is a very friendly island and safe for senior and solo travelers. I thought Willemstad was easy to navigate as a senior traveler. The bus excursion allowed me to visit some of the northern regions, which were much different than Willemstad.
