Welcome to a BRAND NEW DISNEY CRUISE LINE SERIES!!! We are on the 13 Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We sailed on the Disney Dream on 20th October 2024 - 2nd November 2024 and this is our itinerary: Day 1 - Southampton, Embarkation Day Day 2 - Day at Sea Day 3 - Vigo, Spain Day 4 - Lisbon, Portugal Day 5 - Day at Sea Day 6 - Day at Sea Day 7 - Ponta Delgada, The Azores Day 8 - Day at Sea Day 9 - Day at Sea Day 10 - Day at Sea Day 11 - Day at Sea Day 12 - Day at Sea Day 13 - Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Day 14 - Debarkation Day at Fort Lauderdale, Florida We start off with the trailer for the new DCL vlog series! I hope you like it!! I show you glimpses of what we get up to at the ports and on the Disney Dream on this westbound transatlantic cruise (WBTA). In today's vlog I show you the two sea days as we head over to the Azores!! I didn't film too much each day (sorry about that!) but I pick up the camera for the 2 evenings. I start the vlog off in the evening of our formal night! We then go back to see one of the things we did earlier which was a gold, platinum and pearl castaway club member party. We got a drink, a talk from the captain about the upcoming ships and a presentation from a former Disney animator Don 'Ducky' Williams. We hear all about his job in animation and he speed draws all our favourite characters! We go back to present time and we are off to Captain's Night which is on longer cruises, they give out drinks in the atrium and you get to meet all the leaders in whites. After our drinks and photos, we headed to Palo for dinner! We hadn't had Palo dinner for 10 years as we usually go for brunch but we fancied something different! It was delicious and the highlight was the chocolate soufflé! We met Donald in his formal wear, I show you our towel animal and then we spend the night in Evolution for Match your Mate and Majority Rules (I didn't film these!) The next day is Pirates night! Pirates in the Caribbean or Pirates in the Atlantic should we say! We got dressed up and got pictures with the characters, there is a group photo of all Mickey and Friends which you only get on the longer cruises. We then had pirates night dinner at Enchanted Garden, I really like the Pirates menu! it's then time for the pirates show on top deck. Then we go and see Bello Duo in the theatre. Much later now and it's time for the fireworks at sea! I love these so much and it blows my mind that we're in the middle of the ocean watching fireworks! I hope you enjoyed this vlog!
