We're taking a very fun tiny train ride (even if it's NOT a hop on, hop off train ride) and then heading to the watch the full Astronomical Clock display? show? ringing? of the Bell Tower on the Cathedral of Messina. It was designed and constructed in 1933, is a short walk from the cruise port and if you arrive at exactly 12 o'clock noon you can see the full 12 minute display it puts on every single day. It's absolutely amazing to see all of the parts and think about what it would have taken to construct all the pieces so long ago.
