About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

Welcome to Hubbard’s Journey. We are embarking on a yearlong Land-Cruise Journey, Thanks for coming along. Our second trip of the Journey has us on the Carnival Freedom sailing across the Atlantic ultimately ending in Barcelona Spain. We are trying to capture our 10,000 steps a day challenge. If you are up for the challenge, please post in the comments your steps for each day. We are also capturing what we do when at sea. Today started with our usual 5 plus mile walk (reaching 10K steps), getting our laundry done, admiring our towel farm of animals in our cabin, a full day of working on videos, peppered with a Deck 3 Galley Tour, Dinner, and a good rest. We hit land tomorrow, Ponta Delgada. Thanks for coming along on our Journey. Happy Cruising and Traveling the World! Ponta Delgada, on São Miguel Island, is the capital of the Azores archipelago of Portugal. The striking, 3-arched city gates and the Gothic-style Church of St. Sebastian are near the harbor. The Convent and Chapel of Our Lady of Hope houses a revered image of Christ. The Carlos Machado Museum offers diverse artifacts of Azorean culture. The city is a gateway to the crater lakes of Sete Cidades, to the northwest.
