Our Disney Cruise adventure begins! 🚢 In this first episode, we start our journey from Stockholm to Southampton, traveling across Europe by train — with a memorable two-night stop in Hamburg, one of my favorite cities in the world. Before boarding the Disney Fantasy, we enjoy some long-overdue friends’ time in Hamburg’s lively St. Pauli district, just steps from the famous Reeperbahn. We stay at the stunning Empire Riverside Hotel, overlooking the harbor, with the cocktail bar 20up right upstairs and nightlife right outside the door. 🍻 Over two unforgettable nights, we visit Hooters, Hard Rock Café, and Strand Pauli, and of course, sample a few too many German beers. After saying goodbye to Cecce, I continue my journey — slightly hungover — through Belgium, under the English Channel, and onward to London Gatwick Airport, where I spend the night at Sofitel Gatwick. The next day, The Rose flies in from Sweden, and after meeting him at arrivals, we take the train to Southampton, checking in at the Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour Hotel.
