Disney Magic CASTAWAY CAY | Pelican Bar, Lumiere’s & Tangled | Disney Cruise Line Vlog | August 2025

Welcome to a new vlog series and our day at Disney’s private island, CASTAWAY CAY 🚢 **Enter our giveaway which we’re running for the duration of these vlogs. Subscribe and leave a comment to enter, the more comments, the more entries!** We’re travelling on the Disney Magic for our very first back to back sailing on the 5-night Bahamas route with stops at Nassau, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. The details of this trip include: ✨ Checking into Walt Disney World’s Art of Animation for the first time 🚢 Our first back to back sailing on the Disney Magic, the first ship we ever sailed on! 🏝️ Visiting Disney’s private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point 🚀 Staycation at Universal Orlando’s Terra Luna 🎢 Epic Universe 🌎 Universal Orlando Annual Passholder Nights 🏰 Resort hopping at Walt Disney World We start the day with a buffet breakfast at Cabana’s before disembarking the ship and immediately bumping into our fave cheeky chipmunks, Chip & Dale. We find a spot at the beach to take a swim in the sea, I perhaps regretted this somewhat… thanks Oscar! 🤣 We relax on the hammocks under the palm trees, how blissful is that?! We show you the views from Pelican Plunge before heading to the Heads Up bar at Pelican Point (the first time for us!) for cocktail of the day and to soak in the beautiful views of the island and the ship. Then it’s time for lunch at Cookie’s BBQ, one of favourite spots to eat when sailing with Disney Cruise Line. After re-boarding the Disney Magic, I share my Tangled themed outfit as our broadway style show this evening is Tangled and we spotted a photo opportunity with Rapunzel’s Lantern on the Navigator App. We have some adult-only time at the Cove area and manage to catch the ship’s horn as we sail away from Castaway Cay. Another magical moment! 🚢✨ Dinner is at Lumiere’s and it’s one of my favourite dining rotations onboard, yum 😋 We head for a very windy stroll around the deck, beautiful views but wild hair(!!) before finishing the evening with the show.
