Let us start with the Pros: Value Resort- Free Parking, Themed for Kids, Big Resort, 3 pools, coin laundry, food court, nice size rooms, free transportation during parks and water parks operation hours. Transportation drop off does not require bus to tram or bus to monorail. You will be dropped off and picked up walking distance from the main entry of the parks. Free Transportation to Disney Springs. Cons- Very big resort and standard rooms can be a long walk to food court, transportation, gift shop and front desk. The heat in Florida on some days is extremely uncomfortable for most. Big Resort means more people. All Star Sports has close to 2000 rooms. Spread across 10 buildings. Food court lines can get long. Transportation buses can be standing room only. Several children running all around, They are everywhere. Remember, we are talking about Disney here. We have stayed at this resort many times dating back to 2003. We have stayed at other Walt Disney Resorts. But for some odd reason we keep coming back to the All Star Resort.
