Welcome to a new travel series!! This time we are travelling to Dublin, Ireland! There are going to be 2 Dublin vlogs so make sure to catch them both! I am going to show you around Dublin, give you some Dublin top tips, where to stay in Dublin, what to eat in Dublin, top Dublin restaurants and of course the Guinness and Jameson's factory tours! We drive from Liverpool, England to Holyhead, Wales to get the Stena Line ferry/boat across the Irish Sea to Dublin! I start this vlog off on the stena line boat talking about the trip, we then flash back to travelling across to Holyhead for the ship/ferry. I show you where to park if you are going across without your car and how much it is to park at Holyhead port. I show you the passenger terminal and my parents' Irish passports! We get onto a stena line bus which takes us onto the ferry. I then give you a bit of a ship tour of the Stena Line Adventurer. I show you around the public areas, restaurant, cabins, cinema rooms, duty free and then the top deck. We head up to top deck as we come into Dublin. We get back onto the bus off the ship. We then get to arrivals and pick up our luggage. There is a bus outside the arrivals so we get onto it to get as close to our hotel as we can. We are staying at the Maldron Hotel in Dublin. I show you around the hotel and give you a quick room tour of the Maldron hotel. Then we head to the Grand canal dock where they have a special light installation called cygnus. We head to Brewdog Dublin for some drinks and dinner. We head back to the hotel. The next morning we start at St Stephen's Green as that is the meeting point for the Guru free walking tour around Dublin! The meeting point is Wolfe tone statue or 'tonehenge' our tour guide gives us bit of history and culture and lets us know the best places to eat and drink. She guides us to Grafton Street next, Molly Malone, Temple Bar, Dublin Castle and Christ Church. We finish at the church and we decide to go in and have a look around. We see the famous heart in the box, catacombs and then head to the nearby Irish pub that our tour guide recommended for lunch. It was delicious! We got the first guinness of the trip!! We crossed the river liffey to walk over to Jamesons Whiskey Distillery for a tour! We get the history and how to make Jamesons whiskey and we get to have a whiskey tasking and a free drink at the end. We went to the restaurant opposite the distillery, Oscars for some dinner. We get the tram back to near the hotel and I end the vlog. Next week we go to Guinness Storehouse, EPIC museum and carry on exploring the city! Stay tuned to see more Dublin!!
