ENGLISH RIVIERA EXPRESS POOLE TO KINGSWEAR FOR DARTMOUTH 02/07/22

On the 2nd July 2022 [Saphos Steam Train Tours] ran the English Riviera Express Diesel Train & Steam Tour from Poole to Kingswear (for Dartmouth Steam Railway) to join up with the Steam Locomotive Britannia [70000]. The double diesel hauled train with the headcode [1Z60] departed from Poole in Dorset about 06:35am and is seen passing Redbridge Station in Southampton just after 07:30am on her way to Kingswear(for Dartmouth). The 2 Class 47's were the [47593] Galloway Princess in BR Colours & the [D1924] 47810 [Crewe Diesel Depot]. Then you will see the Steam train [70000 Britannia] with the [47593] departing from Churston then Paignton Railway Station in Devon, these two video clips are credited to my dear friend Moira Taylor who filmed the two steam departure clips & so kindly gave me permission to include them in my video. The English Riviera Express with headcode [1Z61/1Z74B] departed from Kingswear(for Dartmouth)at 16:35pm for the long journey back to Poole in Dorset, passing Redbridge Station Southampton just after 22:00pm and due to arrive at Poole for roughly around 23:00pm.
