Join me and Laura as we enjoy an EPIC Travel Day to New York City, USA! We start the day early at Tenerife South Airport for our morning flight with United Airlines to Newark. Flight UA249. I booked the Montana Roja VIP Airport lounge to test our whether it is worth it or not, enjoying runway views as we had some breakfast in Tenerife Departures. We then board our flight and take our seats ready for the 7.5 hour flight with United in economy class. We really enjoyed our flight and particularly the entertainment system which was full of movies, TV and cool features for tracking the flights progress to Newark! Landing in Newark we got some gorgeous views of New York City and the experience in the Airport was excellent and very efficient. We jumped straight into a taxi and got to our Virgin Hotel in Manhattan New York before the plane was even scheduled to land- I love an early arrival! After a smooth check in to our Empire State Building view room and since we were so early arriving, we wanted to get straight out and start exploring! We got on the Klook App and booked the empire state building to go and see some gorgeous views and get our first taster of New York! After the beautiful Golden Hour sunset views of the City blew us away, we went straight to Bryant Park for a Christmas fix, watching the Ice Skating, trying some food and some (awful) Hot Chocolates lol! We continue our Epic Day by heading to Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Rangers vs Penguins in an Ice Hockey game! The stadium was amazing and had every snack and food stand you could think of! After watching the Rangers win, we continued our Epic day by visiting the famous Times Square!
