Our recent 4-night voyage onboard Explora I was nothing short of unforgettable, one of those experiences that stays with you long after you’ve stepped back on shore. From the very beginning, what truly made this journey so special was the people. We had the pleasure of meeting some genuinely wonderful individuals, sharing great conversations, laughter, and moments that reminded us just how special travel can be. We feel incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with such fabulous company along the way. Explora I herself remains as breathtaking as ever. There’s an effortless elegance about the ship, refined yet relaxed and returning onboard felt like coming back to something truly special. Our Ocean Terrace Suite was, once again, exceptional. Spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, it continues to stand out as one of the finest entry-level suites we’ve experienced at sea. The crew, or “hosts,” as they’re so perfectly called, were outstanding throughout. Warm, approachable, and genuinely engaging, they struck that perfect balance between professionalism and personality. Their sense of humour and natural friendliness made every interaction feel personal and sincere. Entertainment onboard was another highlight. Thoughtfully curated and consistently enjoyable, it added so much to the overall atmosphere of the voyage, relaxed, sophisticated, and never overdone. And then, the food… truly phenomenal. Every meal felt like an experience in itself, but a few venues stood out in particular. The Emporium Marketplace impressed us time and time again with its variety and quality, Sakura delivered beautifully executed flavours, and Marble & Co offered a dining experience that was simply exceptional. Once again, the culinary offering completely exceeded our expectations.
