Exploring Santorini 2021

Based in Thira it was the perfect location for exploring the island from. With lots of walking and a hire car for 4 days we covered all of the island. Breathtaking views from Thira, Imerovigli and Oia and the sunsets are amazing. The beach resorts to the south are not very impressive with black lava beaches so worth spending a little extra to stay around the caldera. The winding hairpin road up to Ancient Thera is worth a drive and the the views from the top are great. Lots of wineries to visit and a drive to Cape Akrotiri Lighthouse was good. Didn't get round to doing a boat trip but there were plenty available. Thira is great for cruise ship spotting. Filmed with DJI Pocket 2, iPhone 13 Pro, Sony RX10M4 and DJI Mini 2.
