We were initially intimidated by the immense size of the city and the bustling traffic. But after exploring its history and culture by visiting it's museums and landmarks and we've come to truly appreciate the beauty of this wonderful city. We are on an breathtaking South Asia Pacific Viking Ocean cruise that’s lasting an entire month, and it’s allowed us to visit some fantastic new places along the way including Jakarta. Since we typically slow travel for a month at a time, this provides us a rare opportunity to gather first impressions to decide if we would spend the money and time. to return here for a longer visit.
