We are so excited to be exploring four of the Hawaiian Islands and the next up is Maui! We are here for two days so jump over to the airport to get a rental car so we can properly explore on our own. That was a bit of a process... but worth it to have the freedom to go around the island... and we have a list of what we want to do! First up... it's lunchtime! We head over to Joey's Kitchen for some local Hawaiian fare. This restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and it was really good! Next door was a dive and snorkel shop so we grabbed some gear... and snacks from the grocery store and head to find a great spot! Honolua Bay is supposed to have some of the best snorkeling in Maui. We find the spot and walk through a beautiful jungle to get there. It is not a beach, but rocks! We make it down the precarious path to the water and start swimming. It is hard to get in and out of the bay... but so worth it once you get into the water! So many different species of fish AND SEA TURTLES!! It was some of the best snorkeling we have ever experienced! Next we need some relaxing beach time and go right down the road to Kapalua Beach. Beautiful sand and waves rolling in... and more sea turtles! One was actually up on the beach... resting, laying eggs? We're not sure, but we loved watching it! Now... back to the ship! #maui #hawaii #prideofamerica Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow! *Check out our travel & camera gear on Amazon* https://www.amazon.com/shop/eecctravels This link has all of the camera gear we use to create our videos!!
