About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
When in Egypt, you HAVE to visit the Giza Pyramids! We ported in Alexandria and hired a private tour guide and driver for a tour of Cairo which included time at the pyramids. The tour included entry making it easy. We walked around and climbed on Khufu (the largest of the three), visited the Sphinx, and took in amazing views from the plateau while riding a camel. This tour is completely kid-friendly and we had a fantastic time. It will take you to other landmarks in Cairo, but this tour is just of the pyramids. Please see the link below we used to book. Feel free to drop our names to the tour company owner, we get nothing in return, but we had nothing less than a 5-star experience. Communication was used with What's App and the vehicle was outstanding with a dedicated driver and guide. Lunch was included. Meeting spot for cruisers is Gate 10 (main gate). Drive is 2.5 hours so we recommend a 0800 meeting time due to the long day. If you have been to the pyramids or have questions, please comment below. Tour Company: MIRETTE TOURS Booking link: https://www.viator.com/tours/Alexandria/Day-Tour-to-Cairo-from-Alexandria/d4376-118258P9 Please note: WIth regional events occurring, it is not a factor in Alexandria or Cairo. We felt 100% safe the entire duration of our 2-day stay in Egypt, both BIG cities. We walked at night and with our guide. Vendors are aggressive and will work you for money, do not hesitate to give a firm "NO" or walk on by. They will EXPECT a large amount for taking photos or "assisting". Let your tour guide tell them you are not interested if your NO does not send the message.
