My Amazing Norwegian Bliss Cruise: July Reflections This past July, I had the pleasure of cruising aboard the Norwegian Bliss—a journey that was both a return and a new adventure for me. Having previously sailed the same itinerary in May of 2022, I was excited to revisit some favorite ports and finally experience a couple of excursions that had been on my bucket list. Unforgettable Excursions in Juneau This time, I finally took the Wings Airways' seaplane tour in Juneau, soaring above Alaska's massive and spectacular glaciers and witnessing Alaska’s wild beauty from a whole new perspective. Another highlight was the small boat cruise through the Endicott Arm to Dawes Glacier. Due to heavy ice flow, the Norwegian Bliss couldn’t reach the glacier itself, making this excursion the only way to see Dawes Glacier up close. I even saw a humpback whale that showed its tail. I’m so glad I booked it—the views were absolutely spectacular and the experience was unforgettable. Ports of Call Our journey included stops at some of Alaska’s most charming destinations: Sitka Juneau Icy Strait Point Ketchikan A brief visit to Victoria, BC, Canada Each port offered its own unique charm and opportunities for exploration. Meeting YouTube Cruise Stars A special moment in Ketchikan was meeting Tony from @LaLidoLoca and Don from @Donsfamilyvacations while waiting for the shuttle back to the ship at Wards Cove.
