Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Downtown - Westedge SC, an @ihgplc - Hotel Room Tour While visiting Charleston, South Carolina before our spring break Bahamas Cruise, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Downtown - Westedge SC, an @ihgplc. This is a riverfront hotel with outdoor pool near the College of Charleston. This was a double bed room with a shower and tub combination bathroom, microwave, mini cooler/fridge and coffee maker with k-cups provided. We booked this @HIExpress hotel through @hotelsdotcom for the day before our cruise aboard the Carnival Sunshine. The hotel is approximately 13 minutes (3 miles) from the Port of Charleston. The hotel does coordinate with the garage directly beside it for parking during your cruise for a fee, however, they do not provide transportation to the cruise port.
