Holland America Celebrates 150 Years of Sailing

Holland America Line is celebrating 150 years of sailing in 2023. The company was founded in 1872 by Captain Cornelius Willemsz. Van Heemskerck, who launched the first Holland America Line ship, the Rotterdam.
