About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Would YOU ride these scary water slides?! I had a near panic attack at the top of the yellow one and nearly didn't make it. Category 6 is the name of the record-breaking water park on the brand new Royal Caribbean mega ship Icon of the Seas. It has six slides in total, all with extreme weather-related names: two raft slides (the green one's called 'Storm Surge' and the pink one's Hurricane Hunter ) a drop slide called Frightening Bolt and a pair of dual racer mat slides called Storm Chasers. Scariest of all for me was the record-breaking yellow slide called Pressure Drop - it's the first ever open free fall slide at sea and has a sheer 66 degree gradient. This video shows my near panic attack at the top of the yellow Pressure Drop slide as I try to convince myself to do it . This video shows me attempting ALL six of the water slides in Category 6 and includes POV footage of all the rides too.
