Hoops at Sea: Icon’s Massive Sports Court Think you have game? The sports complex on Icon of the Seas is absolutely massive! Located up on Deck 17 within the Thrill Island neighborhood, this full-size court offers some of the most scenic views you’ll ever see while shooting hoops. Embarkation Day Challenge Right after boarding on February 10, 2024, I headed straight for the Basketball Free Throw Competition. Let’s just say I’m a little "rusty"—I didn’t even crack the top 100! But the real star of the day was a young kid named Liam. Watching his free throw shooting form was impressive! He was putting on a clinic while the rest of us were still finding our sea legs. Tournament Tip: Beyond free throws, the ship hosts "Hot Shots" competitions and full tournaments throughout the week.
