Independence of the Seas- Junior Suite Room 1106 Tour NEW ROOMS
YouTube Video Descriptionβ
This is a newly added junior suite on Royal Caribbean's Independence, Freedom and Liberty of the Seas ships. These rooms are on deck 11 (pool deck) making for great and easy access to the pools. They used to be part of the Spa & Fitness area. Initially we were concerned about noise being on deck 11 and close to the Solarium & main elevators. But we found the room almost more quiet than our past cruises, because with limited rooms so far forward on the ship and that deck, very few people traveled the hallways. We were the first suite from the main corridor and didn't really hear anything the entire cruise. The rooms are more spacious than a standard balcony stateroom (wider) and have a much larger balcony. The balconies are a little different with glass on the top portion of the balconies. It is a little noisier on the balcony with the added glass than a standard balcony. The bathrooms also seem bigger and come with a tub (great for bathing kids). We got this room for 2 adults and our 2 young kids for the extra space and bigger balcony. It worked great for our family of 4. The converted couch bed was very large and could easily sleep 2 young kids. The wider room also allowed us to easily setup a pack and play for our baby and storage room for our stroller with room to spare. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and the higher railings gave us more peace of mind with young kids. The kids loved the slanted glass balcony wall and would stand and peer out the glass wall and looking down below. This room worked great for our family, but if you're used to a standard balcony stateroom you may need to evaluate if this room and it's location on the ship is for you. QSX6N4UFZ7CEKOZS
