Creator's Key Takeaways
I am in room 2666, the devil's room. And I'm going to explain why I do not recommend this room later.
This door either does not seal very well. Uh cuz we've had adjoining rooms in the past and either they're very very loud or the door doesn't seal because I can hear those kids.
The second issue with this room is right above on deck three is the main dining room. Yes, I heard carts earlier this morning and late last night.
Do I recommend this room? No. No. Move forward if you're going to be down below.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Welcome aboard the Independence and into room 2666 located on deck 2 aft. This is an Oceanview stateroom that connects to 2664. This video was filmed a couple days into the cruise and the MDR and neighbors were not the only things loud. Below on deck 1 is the cargo loading a holding area meaning at all hours of the day I would hear rolling stock (carts and pallet jacks) moving below. Even if you have great neighbors who are quiet, you have a lot of activity above and below this stateroom. I personally advise AGAINST booking this room.
