It’s Sea Day aboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady, and we’re diving into everything that makes this cruise line different. We started the morning right with room service breakfast on our balcony — coffee, ocean views, and no buffet lines. Corey hit the mini pickleball court (yes, pickleball at sea!) to test out Virgin’s smaller-than-regulation court setup. Later, we explored The Galley, Virgin’s modern take on the traditional cruise buffet — with made-to-order stations instead of long buffet lines. Of course, no sea day is complete without dessert, so we made a stop at Lick Me Till Ice Cream for a sweet treat. Dinner was at Gumbae, Virgin’s Korean BBQ restaurant, and honestly? It felt like specialty dining on other cruise lines. The food was interactive, flavorful, and one of the standout meals of the trip so far.
