About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

In May, I ate at JiJi Asian Kitchen for the first time on Carnival Panorama and fell in love. It was the first upcharge restaurant I had eaten at on Carnival and I said at the time, "I would absolutely pay for this in the future!" Fast forward to my birthday sailing on the Carnival Horizon. I was torn between Bonsai Sushi* or JiJi Asian Kitchen as both are amazing options, but we landed on JiJi as it was my new favorite restaurant I had tried in 2022**. In this video, we talk about the ordering process, each of the menu options we tried across each course, and share a special birthday moment at the end. Overall, I can say my "29th" birthday was amazing and I'll always remember this experience at JiJi Asian Kitchen on the Carnival Horizon. Things to note: JiJi Asian Kitchen is an upcharge restaurant ($18/adult, $6/child as of this posting), and we think is totally worth it. You can find the restaurant on all Vista-class ships (Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon, and Carnival Panorama) and Carnival Sunshine. It's not on the new XL-class ships like Mardi Gras or Carnival Celebration, as it's been replaced by our other new favorite Asian AND Mexican spot, Chibang. And the best part about Chibang? It's free! Links to Chibang reviews included below. If you enjoyed this video, let us know in the comments and give it a like.
