Welcome to our Lake Bled Vlog! 🇸🇮 In this video we're exploring Slovenia's fairytale lake and island. If you're planning a day trip to Lake Bled, this vlog is your perfect guide! Lake Bled is one of the top tourist attractions in Slovenia and is well worth seeing. We were visiting Lake Bled on a day trip from Trieste, Italy, and also visited Ljubljana, Slovenia on the same trip which was easy to combine. Our day visiting Lake Bled was truly amazing. Just a 40-minute drive from Ljubljana, our coach stopped in the charming village of Bled and we spent time around the lake. The highlight was getting a traditional Pletna boat across the lake to visit Lake Bled Island, the only island in Slovenia! We also explored Bled Castle, or Blejski Grad, perched on the cliff overlooking the lake and stopped by the gift shop for some lovely Slovenian Christmas decorations. The views from the castle are spectacular. Our time visiting Lake Bled was short, which is a shame because we really liked it. We loved visiting Slovenia and would love to return for a longer break.
