Latest CRUISE NEWS - CRUISES SUSPENDED Through Fall 2020 for ALL Major Cruiselines//In this video we go over the breaking news about cruise cancellations for Summer and Fall 2020. Recently Norwegian Cruise Line announced cruise cancellations for August, September and some cruises in October. There is a possibility of cruises to Alaska resuming in September, on Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Bliss. However this seems difficult given the additional news from CLIA, which affects all major cruise lines. Cruise Line International Association has announced that all major cruise lines will be voluntarily suspending cruises until September 15, 2020 in all US ports. At that point they may extend the pause in cruising further, but this will be assessed. Cruise lines that have canceled cruises include Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America, Cunard, MSC cruises, and all ocean going cruises leaving from US cruise ports (which are members of CLIA). We discuss what to do if your cruise is affected, including refunds and future cruise credits, and what may be better for you. This is a voluntary pause by CLIA and the cruise lines and cruise ships, and not an extension of the no-sail order by the CDC, which was due to expire on July 24, 2020.
