Creator's Key Takeaways

I really recommend it. Um, so it was Montreal, so it's MTL Detours.

It was really interesting. you could get from so many hotels, so many shopping malls, so many um offices just and the um trains as well just by um train stations and metros by corridor. It's amazing.

We love Formula 1, so we've been to quite a few races now and been on a few tracks. So, um, it was nice walking around.

There was very generous portions, good value for money, very friendly service.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

We spent the day exploring Montréal before our cruise and packed so much in! From checking into the stylish lofts at Hotel David in Old Montréal (around £240 a night and walking distance from the port), to heading underground on an MTL Detour walking tour of the RESO – the world’s largest underground city – booked via Viator for about £25 each. As F1 fans, we couldn’t resist visiting the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Île Notre-Dame. We walked the full 5km track, spotting groundhogs and Canada geese along the way, and it’s easy to reach from central Montréal by metro (Jean-Drapeau station) or a quick Uber if needed. And of course, we got around the city using the Montréal Metro, a simple and efficient system with 4 lines connecting all the main sights. Such a fun way to spend a day in this vibrant city before setting sail! #montreal #nocruisecontrol #travelinspiration #citybreak #cruisetips
