Join us as we hike and zip line 5 lines including 3 of the longest and fastest zip lines in Texas. Everything was going great until I got stuck and our guide had to come save me 😂 We took a girl's trip to Austin for my sister's birthday weekend and decided to zip line at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures. The entire excursion took about 3 hours which included hiking up and ziplining down. The last zip line is the Double Barrel Shotgun where we race down. Watch to the end to see who wins! The entire vlog was filmed on an iPhone 8 plus and edited with Final Cut Pro X. We took a a girls trip to Austin, Tx for my sister's birthday weekend. We stayed in an amazing Airbnb right outside of Austin. There are many things to do in Austin area, so we took a quick road trip to Lake Travis. After a drive up the hills we arrived at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures. The group took a 5 minute pontoon boat ride to where we started our excursion. We got a safety briefing and put on our zip lining equipment. Our zip line group had 2 guides with us the entire time as we hiked up and zip lined down. Hiking to the first 4 zip lines were not that bad, but that hike up was a little more strenuous. But, with a little break here and there, it's nothing you cant finish. The hiking portion is not a race, so just take your time. What is a race, is the last zip line! The last line is the longest and fastest zip line in Texas. And, I got stuck on it. Watch the video to see how, but thanks to our amazing guides, I was quickly saved with no problem. I was stuck on the zip line for only a couple of minutes, they came and got me immediately.
