The masks are off! It's the first day that no masks have to be worn at Walt Disney World and we decided to go with Monica's family to Magic Kingdom Park! We had a lot of fun strolling down Main Street USA gazing at Cinderella Castle which is undergoing transformation for the 50th Anniversary Celebration beginning October 1st. We head straight for Jungle Cruise, which is undergoing transformation into a more "inclusive" ride. We also stick around in Adventureland to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and checked on our feathered-friends in Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. We also visited 999 happy haunts in The Haunted Mansion. We then made our way over to Tomorrowland where we finally got to ride the newly re-opened Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover. A visit to Tomorrowland isn't complete without taking in Zach's favorite attraction: Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. We also were able to see Mickey and Friends Cavalcade, Main Street Philharmonic, and Pooh and Friends all on Main Street USA! Thunderstorms brought most of our riding to a halt which caused us to visit the Country Bear Jamboree and Main Street Confectionery (temporarily located in Main Street Cinema). We then decided to head back to Bay Lake Tower to rest before coming back for Part 2 of adventure at Magic Kingdom. Stay tuned for more!
