MS "Rotterdam" & "Oceana" morning departures from Southampton - 05/12/2012

Wednesday 5th December saw an unusual sight in Southampton Docks when not one, but TWO cruise ships departed during the morning. The first to go was Holland-America Line's MS "Rotterdam" returning after her cruise to the Caribbean (she last visited on Saturday 3rd November). She was docked at the 'Ocean' Terminal and departed at around 10:05 bound for Rotterdam having been booked for a 10:00 departure. Following the "Rotterdam" was P&O Cruises' "Oceana" from the 'Mayflower' Terminal at around 10:35 on her way to Hamburg for a refit. She will return on Thursday 20th December. "Rotterdam" would also be heading to Hamburg for a refit following her visit to her namesake port. She will return to Southampton on Thursday 10th January 2013.
