Join us for Day 6 of our 7-night Caribbean cruise on the MSC Seascape! Today we are docked in Cozumel, Mexico, for a massive adventure on the mainland. We booked an official MSC excursion called Caverns and Underground Snorkel and Shopping in Playa del Carmen. Our journey begins with a ferry ride over to the mainland followed by an unforgettable trek into the Cenote Chaak Tun cave system. We spent over an hour exploring the deep limestone caverns, navigating narrow rock tunnels, and cave swimming through the crystal-clear underground waters. Afterward, we headed back into Playa del Carmen for some free time to explore the beautiful local beach, walk the colorful streets, and check out the local shops before catching the ferry back to the pier. Back on board the MSC Seascape, the evening kicked off with a fun Western-themed night. We headed to the Cala Jondal Restaurant for a fantastic main dining room dinner featuring Texas-style smoked brisket, pulled pork quesadillas, and cornbread. Since it was Andrea's birthday, the dining staff completely surprised her with a full birthday cake and a beautiful happy birthday song in perfect harmony! We wrapped up our night by catching the high-energy "In Concert" rock production show in the Chora Theatre and joining the "Officers in Motion" dance party in the ship's atrium. Tomorrow is Day 7, our final sea day aboard the MSC Seascape, and with so much left to see and do, it is going to be a wonderful day.
