"MSC Splendida" & "Hoegh Osaka" arriving in Southampton Docks - 28/04/2015

The morning of Tuesday 28th April 2015 saw the arrival of yet another first-time visitor to Southampton Docks. The ship in question was MSC Cruises' "MSC Splendida" making the first of several calls during the year. She docked at the 'Mayflower' Terminal around 08:15. Following a short distance behind "MSC Splendida" was the car carrier "Hoegh Osaka" which made headlines back in January after it ran-aground on the sandbanks in the Solent. It was returning from Falmouth following repairs. Viewed from Town Quay.
