Because it's on Deck 13. So tell me, are you superstitious / is the number 13 lucky or unlucky for you? And would YOU ever book yourself a cabin on floor/deck 13? Well, my cabin #13219 on MSC Virtuosa was on Deck 13. It was my first time ever on a deck 13 (or a floor 13 in a hotel even) and it was slightly unsettling. On MSC Cruises there is a deck 13 but there's no deck 17 and that's because this is an Italian cruise line and in Italy the number 17 is unlucky! Funny how different countries have different superstitions. Anyway, this video looks at my whole deluxe balcony cabin, looking at the bed, the pillows, the lighting, the storage space, the balcony, plug sockets, the bathroom and other amenities etc. I really liked it (there's even a kettle tray to make your own drinks) and was very impressed and deck 13 didn't appear to be unlucky for me after all!
