Join us as we leave the Enchanted Princess and head out on one of the most exciting Belize cruise excursions we've ever experienced. This adventure takes us from Belize City to the beautiful island of Caye Caulker, where we snorkel the world famous Belize Barrier Reef, swim alongside nurse sharks and stingrays, and enjoy some well deserved island time at the legendary Lazy Lizard. The day starts with a tender ride from the Enchanted Princess into Belize City before meeting up with our excursion group. Then it's off on a high speed powerboat ride across the Caribbean Sea. The boat ride alone is worth the trip! Fast, bumpy, and full of excitement, it felt like a thrill ride on the water. Once we reached the reef, it was time to gear up and jump into one of the most incredible snorkeling locations in the Caribbean. The Belize Barrier Reef is the second largest reef system in the world and offers crystal clear water, colorful coral, and plenty of tropical fish. Whether you're an experienced snorkeler or trying it for the first time, this guided drift snorkel is an amazing experience. Then came the moment we were all waiting for - swimming with sharks in Belize! As soon as we entered the water, nurse sharks and stingrays surrounded us. Watching these incredible creatures glide just inches away was both exciting and surreal. It was one of those cruise excursion moments we'll never forget. After all the excitement, we made our way back to Caye Caulker to relax at the famous Lazy Lizard. Great food, cold drinks, beautiful views, and that laid back Belize atmosphere made it the perfect place to recharge before heading back. We also stopped at Tarpon Cove, where massive tarpon gather near the docks. Seeing these giant fish up close was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day in Belize. If you're planning a Princess Cruise, Carnival Cruise, Royal Caribbean Cruise, or looking at private Belize excursions, this shark and ray encounter should absolutely be on your shortlist. It combines adventure, wildlife, snorkeling, and island vibes into one incredible day.
